Leak detection

  • Moisture Measurement
  • Endoscopy/thermography technology
  • Acoustic leak detection
  • Tracer gas

Moisture Measurement

Polygon provides thorough moisture testing to detect issues like faulty insulation, rainwater leaks, condensation problems, or mold. Our skilled technicians perform each test and provide a detailed report, ensuring that all necessary repairs can be properly planned and assessed.

Endoscopy/thermography technology

Endoscopy uses a video endoscope and tube camera to inspect cavities, shafts, and pipes with minimal disruption. This non-destructive method allows for precise detection without unnecessary damage.

Thermography is another non-destructive technique for finding leaks. An infrared camera identifies temperature differences on surfaces to reveal potential issues.

Acoustic leak detection

Highly sensitive microphones amplify the sound of the leak, allowing us to trace the pipe’s route and accurately locate the leak.

Tracer gas

Our technicians use the Tracer gas method, a non-destructive, fast, and precise way to find leaks. A special gas is pressurized through the pipes and detected as it escapes above ground. Gas detectors then pinpoint the exact location of the leak.
